RAK SANIT
The antibacterial revolution
RAK-Sanit is a complete solution that includes porcelain and ceramic tile collections that reduce bacterial contamination and contribute to a healthier living and working environment owing to its antibacterial properties given by silver nitrate compounds. RAK-Sanit antibacterial collection of wall and floor tiles features antibacterial technology that is permanently integrated into the tile surface. Once bacteria come into contact with the tiled surface, the silver ions initiate the elimination cycle. Silver ions in the antibacterial tile surface bind to enzymes, proteins, cell membranes, and the DNA of the microbe to damage DNA and block reproduction, resulting in the death of the organisms.

Klima is a new generation ceramic that, thanks to special materials, is able to resist to cold or warm temperatures according to individual needs and to keep the same temperature as the surrounding environment. When applied to indoor flooring, Klima retains room heat and releases it over the entire surface, producing a warmer feel than a standard floor. When installed on outdoor flooring, Klima resists to the heat from sunlight and remains cool and pleasant to walk on with bare feet. Even with significant sun exposure, the surface is not burning hot and floor keeps the same temperature as the surrounding environment. On ventilated external façades. One of the most recent innovations of RAK Ceramics Innotech lab is FlakeSet. Innovative collections like Flake Stone, feature flakes in the body of the slab, thanks to the new FlakeSet technology. The process starts by getting flakes from atomized color body powder. The flakes are blended with the raw clay, which is then molded and fired at high temperatures to ensure the flakes are evenly distributed and firmly set. Perfect for countertops and visible tile edges, FlakeSet technology redefines elegance by beautifully emulating the look of natural stone, now seamlessly integrated throughout the tile.
